What is the difference between the Bowie Baby Carrier and the Original Toddler Carrier?
The Bowie Baby Carrier creates a complete, structured carrying position using a waistbelt, two shoulder straps, an adjustable seat and a supportive fabric body.
The Original Toddler Carrier is a single-shoulder hip carrier for children who can already walk independently and need quick carries between walking.
When can I start using the Bowie Baby Carrier?
You can start using Bowie once your baby weighs at least 3.2 kg / 7 lbs and can be positioned securely in the carrier.
Babies who cannot yet hold their head upright must face the wearer, with their head and neck properly supported. Always keep your baby’s face visible and airway clear.
For premature babies or babies with respiratory problems or medical conditions, consult a healthcare professional before use.
Can different caregivers use the same carrier?
Yes. Bowie has adjustable shoulder straps and a waist belt that adjusts from 60 to 136 cm. The Original Toddler Carrier has an adjustable single strap and can be worn on either hip. If additional strap length is needed, an extender is also available.
Whenever the wearer changes, adjust the carrier and check the fit again before use.
Is the Original Toddler Carrier hands-free?
No. It supports your child in a side-seated position on either hip, but you must keep one arm around your child while carrying. It is designed for quick transitions between walking and being carried.

Read the corresponding instruction manual carefully before first use. It explains how to position your child, fasten the carrier and check the fit.
